Here at TidyMAX we use hot water extraction - most often known as steam cleaning. This involves injecting soft, hot water and gentle cleaning solutions deep into your carpets. This is then sucked out again bringing up the really ingrained dirt, as well as most of the liquid. This takes between 20 minutes and half an hour depending on the carpet size.

This depends on several factors. Obviously we have to take humidity, temperature and airflow into account. Fans and air-con can speed up the process, but we would generally say that it takes from about 8-24 hours for carpets to dry completely.

This shouldn't be a problem if you are careful. We leave our customers with protective foot covers and put protectors under your furnishings. But you will need to keep pets and sticky children away until everything is properly dry.

This can all be done by our professional cleaners. We have years of experience in carefully moving furniture and precious heirlooms, and replacing it all on protective padding as needed. However, you may want to find a temporary home for items like lamps and plants.

This happens more often than you would think, as dirt in the carpet backing comes to the surface after cleaning as the carpet dries, a process known as wicking. This is why we say no job is done until you are completely happy. If the stains come back we will return for a touch-up job right away. Remember that in some older carpets not every mark can be removed. It can depend on the substance spilled and the fibers of your carpet.

We use the same water extraction process as this offers the best results. Some fabrics can be more delicate but our experts can ascertain the way to deal with all your furniture on our initial inspection. In some cases a dry cleaning process is best.

Again, this depends on conditions and whether you choose to apply a furniture protection, but 6-12 hours is the average drying time.

We use high-pressure jets and cleaner that strip away that waxy buildup that accumulates over time. Grout absorbs liquids, and the dirt between tiles is often much deeper than you think. This is why a thorough professional clean is needed to return the shine to tiles and whiteness to your grout.

This depends on the size of your kitchen and bathrooms and how long it has been since the grout was last cleaned. If you choose to have a sealant applied as a protective barrier for your grout, you should wait around 30 minutes before walking on any tile floor and 24 hours before getting sealant wet.

Ventilation systems collect dirt, which can affect performance by restricting airflow and clogging vital elements. Cleaning makes your systems much more efficient and means they use less energy - resulting in lower utility bills for you. Regular cleaning extends the life of your systems.

This spends on many factors. Are there pets or smokers in the house? Have you recently had renovations in the house causing dust? Do any family members or employees suffer with allergies or asthma who would benefit from reduced air pollutants? These are all factors, but it's worth having your ducts cleaned at least every three to five years in order to get the best out of your ventilation systems.
